Hello Foster Families! I have been asked by several Georgia Foster care and adoption agencies to share my story to offer insight and direction on fostering children. Here is a little bit of my story:
At the age of 7 months I was put into foster care where I lived for for the rest of my childhood (age 16). While living in my first foster home, my mother was killed and I was forced into a kinship Foster home and adoption where I experienced every form of abuse possible.
So many times throughout my childhood I felt like I was not supposed to live. I struggled with severe anxiety and depression not because I missed my mother and family, but due to lack of love and a nurturing parent and living environment. Its okay to love your Foster children! They need it the most!
I fought through the adversities of teen pregnancy, rape, poverty, and homelessness to grow up to become a successful business woman and entrepreneur. I have worked for major fortune 50 companies, becoming a banker, financial advisory for IBM retired engineers, and ultimately starting several businesses of my own.
I would love for foster parents to attend our seminar to learn what I had to do to overcome life's adversities and reach my fullest potential in life. This is an Invite RSVP ONLY Lunch & Learn and you must be on the list to gain access.
Hope to see you all there!
